Article 39 is a small, independent children’s rights charity. We work with other like-minded campaigners and organisations to fight for children’s legal and human rights in institutional settings. Our values and principles underpin everything we do.
We are excited to recruit our first Assistant Director, who will deputise for Article 39’s Director and lead our work around building the capacity of independent advocates, promoting and defending the legal and human rights of children living in education and/or health institutional settings and help us raise funds to increase our capacity to do this work.
If you are passionate about the rights of children and young people, skilled in bringing about positive change with and for children and young people and relish a challenge, we would love to hear from you.
This is a temporary post; its continuation after 12 months will depend on the impact you have and our successful fundraising. We would be willing to consider a secondment arrangement.
We are committed to equality and value diversity. Disabled applicants who meet our person specification are guaranteed an interview. We support family-friendly working.
