Your right to complain! training course

What is the Your right to complain! training course about?

This new Article 39 online training course is for care experienced young people who want to learn more about their right to complain about how they were treated and supported in care or after leaving care.

The law says every council in England must have a system in place for receiving, reviewing and responding to complaints about its services for care experienced children, young people and young adults. The course will help you understand this complaints process – from thinking about making a complaint, to putting your complaint together and deciding what you want to happen as a result of your complaint.

When and where is the training course taking place?

  • Wednesday 15 April 2026, 5pm-7pm online on Zoom.

PLEASE NOTE: To join us, you must have access to a computer, Tablet or smartphone and can join us individually using Zoom. You must also be able to switch on camera and audio on Zoom. It’s easier to have conversations when we can see and hear each other!
