Course overview:

This 45-minute course has been designed to provide an accessible, bite-sized opportunity to increase professional confidence and help children and young people’s advocates to use the law in practice. During the course, participants:

  • Explore where amendments to primary and secondary legislation come from;
  • Explore the process of looking up and verifying changes to primary and secondary legislation;
  • Test and practice their own ability to look up amendments, using practical examples relevant to advocacy.
